HI

I went on my course yesterday. Being positive means you achieve more so I thought Id share one technique I learned with you all.

1) Get a note book journal.
2) every day write 5 things you have achieved.
3) Display using photos, music, words make a noticeboard or scrapbook of your wonderful life moments.

Mine today is this

1) got up MYSELF!
2) Eaten my lunch!
3) paid my PAs
4) rung 10 people I needed to
5) walked using frame 6 steps!

Hi Jenni
That sounds great. You are such an encouragement to me.
I like the idea of writing 5 positive things - I think I'll do that too. I could put 5 phone calls down as my five things - or is that cheating?
Hope 2nd treatment went well today.

This sounds like a good idea, Jenni. It is sometimes hard to feel positive with ra, may start this writing positive things down myself. The only other time i have written anything down in relation to ra and my day to day life has been for a diary for dla details and then it's all so negative.

My positives today are;

Dental hygienist without vertigo attack.
Lovely chat with hygienist.
Out for lunch with friends.
Blackberry and apple crumble with lunch.
Mike made tea, as i was shattered.

Good idea this Jenni!BigGrin

Take care and good luck with the positive thinking.

Bevxx

I think this is a really good idea Jenni. I too have been struggling to get by recently, I'm forgetting all the good things that happen to me. We should all try it.

Have just done it in my head - made me smile!!!!

Hope things continue to improve for you Jenni.
